WindTalker Announces Microsoft Active Directory Integration
User management tools enable organizations to universally control access to the security platform.
ATLANTA – January 29, 2019 – WindTalker, Inc. announced today its content security platform now integrates with Microsoft Active Directory, providing law firms, corporate legal departments, and enterprise customers with the ability to manage user access with greater ease and efficiency.
WindTalker’s integration with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) leverages several critical AD features including Account Management, add and remove WindTalker users automatically based on their location or AD Group Membership; Single Sign-On, users can access the WindTalker platform without needing to create, remember, and manage additional passwords or profiles; and Accelerated Profile Updates/Access Rights, updates and changes to AD automatically affects user access to WindTalker-protected content based on configurable policies.
WindTalker’s unique ability to simultaneously classify, encrypt, redact, and track sensitive content in documents, and support “Chinese Walls”, reduces the need to parse and manage multiple documents to protect sensitive information from unauthorized recipients, unauthorized and inadvertent disclosure. By applying protection inside the document, WindTalker can support multi-level classification and provide access to different audiences, which is the definition of “Differential Sharing”, in each document. Once the data is protected, it remains so throughout its entire lifecycle until it is declassified or destroyed.
